  • 1 VOICE FOUNDATION

    CAB provides funding to support the Pediatric Cancer Lab at the University of South Florida, to assist in preventing Leukemia. In addition to research, we also support their Fit 4 Truth Weekend Retreats for Oncology teenagers. The retreat is for patients and cancer survivors, and allows them to bond over their similar triumphs and struggles. The program includes team building, outbreak sessions and five “Ways of Life” steps to stay strong and create your best life— mind, body and spirit.

  • Academy Prep

    Children Across Borders supports the 11th Month Program at Academy Prep. Funding supports the purchase of supplies needed for schooling and enrichment courses during the June month and meals purchased for students through their Meals on Wheels contract. In addition, CAB provides a portion of the stipends needed for Academy Prep’s partners and AmeriCorps teachers.

As they proudly promote global citizenship and college exposure, CAB's support will enable BELA students to travel internationally as well as participate in a range of pre-collegiate activities designed to ease their transition into higher education.

    Children Across Borders supports The Girl2B Coaching Centers in Calcutta. The Coaching Centers provide personalized coaching aimed to bridge the educational gap of the girl versus mainstream education, helping her get board-certified for class 12. A class 12 certificate is the base from where they can either continue their academics into higher education, or obtain basic jobs (Class 12 is a requisition for most decent paying jobs and all government jobs.)

    Children Across Borders provides continued support towards the physiotherapy and exercise needed to enhance patient mobility, in addition to funding vocational and job-training to help those who have completed their education but are having a difficult time finding a job. The funding also enhances the lives of the children by providing them with music, dance, and art classes, which allows them to develop their true talents while also serving as therapy as they deal with hemophilia.

    Mathrushree is a special residential school for mentally challenged children from economically poor areas of Bangalore. The home provides educational instruction, and appropriate life-skills to enable them to live in the society like their peers. Behavior modified programs are taught through the services of physiotherapy, speech therapy, music therapy, yoga therapy and special education techniques by a team of interdisciplinary teachers. Children Across Borders provides funding to support the physiotherapy equipment, food & milk, transportation and medical needs for 100 children.
